Safety Procedures & Drug Policy

3D finishing Systems encourages all employees to execute their daily duties within our scope of work to the highest levels of safety possible.
When working above 15 feet we require a 2-man buddy system to insure that all ladders and scaffolding systems are footed/secured properly. Ask a crewmember to advise or help you when ascending above the 15-foot level. All ladders at day's end must be removed from an upright position and stowed safely away from home overnight if work is on-going at an individual site.
All employees will receive extensive OJT by a crew leader before working with power washing equipment on their own. At no time should you as a new hire or as a manager allow someone without the proper OJT to operate power washing equipment and related tools unsupervised. This applies to airless paint spraying equipment as well.
All crew leaders must check and re-check trailer equipment hook-up and release and re-hook-up of trailers and/or trailer mounted rental equipment to insure it is safely secured prior to leaving to and from any work site. This also applies to open bed area of trucks including ladder racks. All items in these areas must be securely boomed down to prevent road hazards to others.
It is the responsibility of all employees to take care in handling the personal property of clients we are contracted to do work. Examples are such as the following: COVER ALL BOATS, MOTORCYCLES, ADDITIONAL CARS prior to pressure washing, staining, or painting. Prepare fragile plants or bedding in close proximity to our work areas with the needed protection prior to spraying anything.
Any employee of 3D Finishing Systems is instructed to report any unsafe condition related to our own equipment or worksite immediately to a crew leader or manager of 3D Finishing Systems or General Contractor onsite.
At no time is any employee to report to work under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Anyone engaging in drugs or alcohol while at work for 3D Finishing Systems will be considered terminated immediately. This includes even a client offering you a beer at the end of the day and just wanting to shoot the breeze with you after work has been concluded. We will all conduct ourselves professionally to the highest standards possible in an environment free of drugs and alcohol while we are at our various places of work.
